On August 20th, starting at 7:00 pm, the Ladies of OPCC have planned an event participating in Harvester's 'Give Lunch' program. Lunches assembled from this food drive will be used for youth feeding programs, including the homeless teen mobile food pantry. We are asking to our entire church family to help with this project. We have a specific list of food items that we must use. A handout will be available in the foyer with more details of the program as well as the food items:
* Whole grain item (crackers, pretzels, cereal etc.)
* Protein item (single serving canned meat with pop top)
* Juice box
* Snack item (chips, mixed nuts)
* Fruit cup with pop-top
* Reduced sugar dessert (pudding or Jell-O)
A box will be in the foyer for the collection of the food items. We will pack the sacks at 7:00 on August 20th in the foyer area. If you have any questions, please contact Tanis Meyers or Kathy Wolfe.
