Week 26:
ZUME Session 6
For the first 30 minutes, please enjoy a meal together as a group. This is an intentional time set aside for fellowship. Eating together is a family activity, and helps us become like a spiritual family. This is one simple way we practice doing what Jesus did.
1/3rd
- Pray for God to train up the group through His Word and Holy Spirit.
- Ask: “What are you thankful for that God did this week?” (Have everyone share)
- Ask: Based on the previous 3/3rds we did (Have everyone share): - “How did you obey what God taught you to do?”
- “Who did you teach what God taught to you?”

- Ask: “Does anyone need help this week? (meals, service, finances, etc.)
- Ask: “What would you like prayer for?” (Have everyone share; everyone pray for the person on their right)
- Focus on the Gospel: Read Galatians 4:3-7 - Have everyone go around and try to recite the whole passage by memory.

Discuss:
- Think about God's commands that you already know. How "faithful" are you in terms of obeying and sharing those things?
- Have you determined your spiritual maturity based on how much you know or how faithful you?
Discuss:
- Have you ever been a part of a Training Cycle?
- Who did you train? Or who trained you?
- Could the same person be at different parts of the Training Cycle while learning different skills?
- What would it look like to train someone like that?
Practice Instructions:
- Split into men and women groups if applicable.
- Pair up and each person takes 3 minutes to share the Gospel. The other should keep the time on their phone.
- After each get a chance to share, change pairs and practice again. Repeat this at least one more time for a total of 3 times; up to 5 times max.
This Week’s Application:
- Make a plan to share the Gospel with each of the 5 people you’ve been daily praying for.
- Plan a time this upcoming week to train your “one” in sharing the Gospel and making their own plan to share the Gospel with their 5 that they’ve been daily praying for.
Ask someone pray to close out your group’s time.
