A place where young hearts are captured for Christ | Newborns to 5th Grade

Our Mission is to love, lead and equip kids to know Jesus, grow in faith, and become passionate followers of Christ.

OPCC Kids Church is a vibrant, loving, and inclusive environment where every child feels safe, seen, and known. We are passionate about creating a space where kids can:

  • Feel God’s love through genuine care and connection

  • Learn about Jesus through engaging, age-appropriate teaching rooted in Scripture

  • Grow in faith by building a personal relationship with Christ

  • Live it out as we help them become lifelong disciples who reflect God’s love in everyday life

Partnering with Parents

We believe parenting is a sacred covenant with God. OPCC Kids Church is here to walk alongside families, providing support, encouragement, and resources to help raise kids who love Jesus. You’re not in this alone, we’re in it together.

Sundays at OPCC Kids

From the moment you walk in, your family will be greeted with a smile and helped through our secure check-in process. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to ensure you and your child can be part of worship.

  • Each child receives a name tag with a unique matching code for their adult.

  • Parents will receive a notification via text if needed during service.

  • This same tag is required for safe pick-up following service.

Age Groups & Classes

We offer age-specific classes during both services every Sunday:

  • Nursery (0–18 months)

  • Toddlers (19 months–2 years)

  • Pre-K (3–4 years)

  • Kindergarten–2nd Grade

  • 3rd–5th Grade

Each class is led by background-checked volunteers who love kids and love Jesus.

Meet our Children’s & Family Pastor: Charles Casco
I’ve been walking with and serving the Lord for 42 years, and I’ve been married just as long, since August 13, 1983. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of serving in ministry as a Youth Pastor, Worship Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Senior Pastor, in both Northern California and Maui.

My wife and I have raised six incredible kids (all boys, except for five!), and we’re now blessed with 18 grandchildren, with number 19 on the way. These days, we live in Leawood and are raising four of our grandkids: Asher, David, Laelynn, and Charlie.

Life verses:

  • Acts 20:24 (NLT) – “But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.”

  • 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NLT) – “So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
