Women's Fellowship Night has a new home this Thursday and we're now meeting at the Gerlach's Residence, 16316 Rosehill St, Overland Park, KS 66221. August 6th, 6–8 PM, we'll share a meal, worship together, get into the Word, and pray, making space for an evening that reminds you that you are not walking this road alone and that God has not forgotten you. The women of OPCC are getting together at Becky Johnson's house for a summer evening of food, fun, and good company. We'll cook out, swim, play pickle ball, and spend time getting to know one another better. Good food, good people, good evening, come ready to have fun!

Join us after second service on July 12th for an authentic Haitian meal and a Haiti Information Luncheon! Come learn more about the Haiti Education Project (HEP) our church's partnership with a school and church community in Croix des Bouquets, Haiti. For over a decade, HEP has provided scholarships and nutritious meals so kids can stay in school and stay fed. Enjoy the food, hear the story firsthand, and discover how you can be part of it.

Summer's here and we're celebrating together!

Join us on June 13th from 4–7 PM on the back lawn and parking lot for Slide Into Summer, a free community event for all ages. There's no ticket, no cost, just good people, great food, and the kind of afternoon that feels like summer is supposed to feel!

Kids will love the inflatables and face painting, and everyone gets to chase down free ice cream from our ice cream truck. Bring your family, bring your neighbors, and come ready to have fun.

This is one of our favorite days of the year and we'd love to share it with you.

STUDENTS, Waterslide Kickball Night is HERE. Grab your towel, wear clothes you don't mind soaking, and get ready for the most fun Wednesday night of the summer. We're combining two legendary activities into one unforgettable night — waterslides + kickball = pure chaos (in the best way). See you then!

Child Dedication is a meaningful moment for parents to publicly commit before God and their church family to raise their children to know and follow Jesus and for the congregation to come alongside them in that calling.

Join us on Sunday, May 10th as we celebrate this milestone together during our Mother's Day service.

To participate, register by noon on Wednesday, May 6th.

Please note: Young children can be checked in before or after the dedication. Family seating is available for guests who would like to be seated up front.

Real community is built in the small moments, around a table, over a good laugh, in a conversation you weren't expecting to have. This is one of those nights.

The women of OPCC are gathering for an evening of appetizers, games, and the kind of genuine connection that reminds you why being known by the people around you matters so much. It doesn't take much. Just showing up and giving the night a chance.

You are invited to join us this Resurrection Sunday, April 5th, at OPCC as we gather to celebrate the risen Christ, the moment that changed everything. The resurrection is not only something that happened long ago; it is the living proof that sin is defeated, death is broken, and hope is alive for all who believe. Because Jesus walked out of the grave, we know that darkness never has the final word, and that the grace of God is stronger than anything we carry.

Church family, you’re invited to Pizza with a Purpose on Sunday, March 22, immediately after second service in Base Camp (downstairs) with OPCC Kids. Join us for pizza, connection, and a time to hear the vision for our Kids Ministry as we walk through our new curriculum, upcoming plans, and a short Q&A/open house. You’ll hear from Children & Families Pastor Charles Casco, Kids Ministry Assistant Ashley Fields, and Lora Casco, who will also be available to answer scheduling questions. Kids Ministry volunteers and all interested are especially encouraged to come and connect. We’re excited about what God is building and would love for you to be part of it as we look ahead together.

On December 28th, immediately following our second service in the sanctuary, we invite all who call OPCC home to join us for our Annual Church Business Meeting.

This will be a brief but important gathering as we celebrate God’s incredible faithfulness, hear how He is moving among us, and prayerfully approve the 2026 church budget as an act of faithful stewardship.

This is a family moment, one of unity, gratitude, and trust in the Lord as we prepare for the year ahead. We would love for you to be with us.

For those who would like a place to spend Christmas Eve with others, we are going to open up the church on Christmas Eve at 4:00 PM. The gathering is open to anyone who would like a place to go. This will not be a formal service, but a time of fellowship. We will share a meal, give time for everyone to share what Christmas means to them, and pray for one another.

In the midst of a busy season, we want to invite you to pause… and come close.

On December 21st, we’ll gather as a church family for our OPCC Christmas Services, opening space to remember the ancient, holy story of Jesus’ birth, the moment God stepped into our world, not in power or noise, but in humility, love, and light.

This will be a family service, designed for all generations to worship together as we reflect on the wonder of Emmanuel, God with us. It’s a beautiful morning to bring friends, neighbors, and family, anyone longing for hope, peace, and meaning this season.

We’ll be offering three services: 8:00am, 9:00am, and 10:30am, to make room for everyone who wants to come. Because this is a family gathering, childcare will only be available downstairs for children five years old and under.

This is a sacred day for our community, and we would love to share it with you!
