The Blue Barrel Food Contribution is back this year on October 26 and November 2, with all proceeds donated to the Renowned Hope Food Pantry of Overland Park. Together, we’re building Thanksgiving meal boxes that will be distributed to each registered family in need. Thanks to generous supporters, we’ve been fortunate to source 450 frozen turkeys—enough to provide one per family! To complete each meal, we’re seeking donations of powdered mashed potatoes, gravy mix, stuffing, corn, green beans, cranberry sauce, and a dessert such as cake mix with canned frosting or brownie mix. In lieu of food donations, monetary contributions are also welcome (please see Coy Coles). The pantry will additionally include a package of brown-and-serve rolls in each meal. Please join us in helping the Renowned Hope Food Pantry provide a healthy and heartwarming Thanksgiving dinner to families in our community—consider giving enough to feed at least one family during this special season of gratitude and giving.
